So today ‐ If you hear his voice,
do not close your heart
But lift your head,
And feel his breath stirring in your soul.

In you is light, in you is peace
Now your time has come
To rise and shine in his pure light
As the world around grows dim.

For today you will see the Promised Land
where all living things can live in peace
and walk hand in hand.
And as you take the lonely path
no‐one else has come,
He will brighten up your way
with his Morning Sun.

So today, if you feel him near,
let Him give you strength,
And don’t deny what he can do
through the Spirit’s power.

His crown of light, his robe of peace
which he’s given you
can make a difference to this world
where all will be renewed.

For today is the Day of Sabbath hope
Where healing can begin
in the light of His love.
This day of toil, this life of pain
has reached an end.
Now all the world can at last
find Requiem.
